Depart For Holy Land

Depart for Holy Land (Tel-Aviv) with complimentary meals and beverages served onboard your international flight.

Arrival in Tel-Aviv Airport - Nazareth

On arrival in Tel Aviv, we will meet our private assistant in the airport and continue to be met by our Catholic guide.
Evening: Proceed to our hotel in Nazareth.

Day 3
Tabor - Cana - Nazareth

Time for confission is needed on this day
After breakfast, we will drive to Cana of Galilee (around 20 min drive) to visit the Wedding Church (also called The First Miracle Church), where Jesus performed the first of his signs, changing purification water into wine. Holy Mass with renewal of marriage vows for couples will be celebrated there.
Time for quick lunch in Cana area,
Our next we will drive to the site of the Transfiguration, Mount Tabor (30 min drive from Cana) (Matthew 17:1-13). At this site, we will have some time to reflect on Christ’s Humanity and Divinity.
Afterwards, we drive back to Naza reth (30 min drive).
Optional activity: Meeting with Vicar of Nazareth - his excellency Rafiq Nahra at Legacy Hotel.
Evening: Dinner and overnight at Legacy Hotel Nazareth.
Mass: at Cana 10 AM. With renewal vows.

Day 4
Sea of Galilee - Capernaum - Mt. of Beatitudes

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we drive to We start our day’s visits on the Mt. of Beatitudes and Mass, where our Lord gave the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7).
Afterwards, we continue through the plains of Gennesaret to Tabgha, where a major part of Jesus Ministry took place. We will visit the Church of the Fish and Loaves Multiplication and see the splendid 6th century mosaic of the loaves and fishes. This is where Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000 people from five loaves of bread and two fish (Luke 9:10-17).
Next, we walk or drive shortly to the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy where Jesus bestowed the church leadership upon Peter (John 21:9).
We continue our morning visits to Capernaum to see the house of St. Peter and the Synagogue where our Lord preached, healed and declared that He is “The Bread of Life”.
Our lunch will be at Magdala Hotel (around 12:30).
One of today’s highlights will be a boat ride along the shores of the Sea of Galilee (Luke 5:1). We will also visit the Museum of the “Ancient Boat”, a 2000-year-old boat found at the shores of Magdala.
Then drive back to Nazareth (40 min drive).

Day 5
CAESAREA – MT. CARMEL - NAZARETH

This Morning, we drive south-west to Caesarea Maritime (60 min drive), where various events recorded in the Book of Acts took place, such as the Baptism of Cornelus (The First Gentle) by St. Peter, ending the tradition of adhering to the Jewish ceremonial laws. It is also the city where St. Paul was held as a prisoner for two years and confronted Herod Agrippa II before starting his last journey to Rome. Here we visit the Roman Theatre, the Palace of Pontius Pilate and have the opportunity to touch the waters of the Mediterranean. This is the place which officially ended the tradition of adhering to the Jewish ceremonial laws.
Drive back to Mt. Carmel for short visit.
Return to Nazareth for a quick lunch.
Here we will experience the town of Mary, where she once lived together with Jesus before starting His Ministry (Matthew 2:23). During the visit to Nazareth, we visit the Church of the Annunciation that hosts The House of the Blessed Virgin. We will visit of the Crypt of the Church where the Incarnation took place, kneeling before the Grotto that is the remains of the house of the Blessed Virgin.
Afterwards, we proceed to the Church of St Joseph (Built in 1914-21 over Jewish ruins). Tradition identifies it with the workshop of St. Joseph and the House of the Holy family. Following the Pilgrims path, we visit Mary’s well, where often the Virgin Mary would have walked to draw water from the spring.

Day 6
Jericho - Dead Sea - Jerusalem

Today: After breakfast, you will drive along the Jordan Valley south to Kasr El-Yahud, Jesus’ baptismal site on the River Jordan (Matthew 3:13-17). After some time at the Jordan River we continue to the oldest inhabited city in the world (60 min Drive), Jericho (Joshua 6:12-25). In Jericho, you view the exact location, the Mount of Temptation, of where the Devil tempted Jesus during His forty-day fast (Luke 4:1). Following the visit to this mountain, we drive to Dead Sea for a swim. Continue drive to Jerusalem. Mass at Good Shepherd in Jericho. At 11:00

Day 7
Bethlehem

This morning, we drive to Bethlehem visiting the place of birth of our Lord, The Basilica of the Nativity. We will visit the Grotto of Nativity and the Church of St. Catherine where the Midnight Mass is celebrated and the Caves of St. Joseph and St. Jerome underneath the church. Visit Shepherd’s Fields, where the Angels appeared to the shepherds who were watching over their flocks during the night.
Time for shopping in Bethlehem.

Day 8
Jerusalem - Mount Olive

After breakfast, we drive to the top of Mt. Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem for a better understanding of its geography and some of the key sites surrounding the area. Starting with a visit the Church of Pater Noster. This where Jesus taught his disciples about end of the days (Matthew 24) and The Father Prayer (Luke 11) that we keep praying word by word till this day.
Then we walk down the Mount of Olives through the Palm Sunday route, seeing amazing panoramic view of Jerusalem to the Church of Dominus Flevit. It is where our Lord wept over the city during His Triumphal Entry.
Continue our way down on the Palm Sunday route to the Garden of Gethsemane. In the Church of Gethsemane there is the Rock of Agony where Jesus uttered His last prayer. We will spend some time for reflection and meditation inside the church. Our Holy Mass in Gethsemane is scheduled around this time of the day. In the Church or the Garden.
Lunch is offered in one of the restaurants in Jerusalem.

Day 9
Jerusalem - Ain Karem - Mount Zion - Upper Room

In the morning, we drive to Ain - Karem to visit the birth place of St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Visitation where Mary came to visit her kinswoman Elizabeth and proclaimed the ‘Magnificat’. This afternoon, we go on Mount Zion to visit the Church of the Dormition commemorating our Blessed Mother falling asleep. Next, we go to visit the Cenacle / Upper Room, the place of the Last Supper and
Pentecost. We also visit the Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu. The house of the high priest of the Jews Caiaphas where Jesus was imprisoned for the night and where Peter denied our Lord.
Mass at the Latin Patriarchate Cathedral.
Visit of the Latin Patriarchate and meet with the Patriarch or one of the Bishops.

Day 10
Jerusalem: The Passion of Jesus Last Hours

Today, we start our early morning walk through stations of the Via Dolorosa. We pass through the markets of the Old City praying the Stations of the Cross as we reflect on the greatness of His sacrifice, stopping at each of the fourteen stations of the cross until we reach the church of Holy Sepulchre. We then celebrate Holy Mass at Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher.
After the mass we walk back to our hotel for breakfast.
We start our day with visiting St. Anne’s Church and the Pools of Bethesda. Further we continue to the Judgement Hall known as the Antonia Fortress( or the Praetorium) where Jesus was led to be condemned to death by Pontius Pilate
Proceed to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to visit the Calvary and the empty Tomb of our Lord and the different sections of the church.
We then walk through the Old City to the Jewish Quarter to overlook the Western Wall, and the Dome of the Rock and El-Aqsa Mosque.
Back to the Hotel for rest after the early morning starting day.
